Ink groaned opening her eyes. The last thing she remembered was her twoleg taking the cage her Blink and Peanut where in and tossing it. She had hit her head pretty hard knocking her out when it hit the ground. The young tortoishell looked around the cage and spotted her brother and sister. They where unconscious as well and her brother was bleeding from a cut on his shoulder. She padded over to them and nudged them each. "Peanut, Blink come on wake up." She was scared and crouched down next to her siblings. What was going to happen to them now?
Blink groaned as she felt someone prod her. "Stop it leave me alone," she murmured thinking it was her sister waking her up to play. "I don't want to play right now leave me alone." Getting agitated she jumped to her paws about to yell at who ever was poking her. But as soon as her eyes opened she realized she wasn't back in the barn and everything that happened came bursting back. Which explained why her tail was hurting so much. Fear began to fill her but she swallowed the fear. She had to be brave for her siblings. "I'm up now."
Peanut felt someone poke him soon fallowed by her siblings voices. He hisses angrily as he opened his eyes. "Where are we?' His voice was filled with allot of anger for such a young kit. He padded forward and examined the entrance. It was bent and had become partially unhooked. It was just barely big enough for his sisters to crawl though. He was a bit bigger than them and didn't know if he could fit through it as well. "Hey guys try and squeeze through this." He stepped back motioning for Blink and Ink to squeeze through.
Ink sighed her sister never was a morning person. She didn't like getting up and took as much time as she wanted. Eventually both of her siblings where up. "I don't know where we are Peanut. She watched as Peanut examined the door to the cage than told them to try and squeeze through. She padded forward and crawled forward squeezing herself under it. She felt the spikes scraping against her pelt."Ok your turn now Blink."
Blink padded forward Ink. She fallowed her sister squeezing through the gate. Like her sister the spikes scraped against her pelt. One of the caught her between her shoulder blades causing her much pain. But finally she made it out panting and bleeding from the shoulder. She turned and nodded to peanut. "Ok now you.
Peanut waited until both of his sister's got out before trying himself. He was the biggest of the three. As he squeezed under it the spiked dug into his fur. When he was half way out he became stuck and no matter what he did he couldn't get loose. "Oh no I'm stuck. Ink Blink you need to find help."
Ink turned to Blink and nodded, "You go I'll stay here." With that Blink turn and darted off into the woods to look for help.
