The current season is leaf-fall. The next medicine cat meeting is October 25th. The next Gathering is on November 16th.

ThunderClan: Applepaw, Rosepaw, Snowpaw, and Shadowpaw are now apprentices.

RiverClan: Prey is fine, and RiverClan is doing well.

WindClan: Loner kits have been discovered on WindClan territory, and one is being treated for sickness.

ShadowClan: A fox was spotted on ShadowClan territory. Breezepaw was attacked by a rogue, and apprentices must now be accompanied by a warrior when leaving camp.

Dewshine breathed in the cool air of the evening. She had had a long day and was very happy to be spending some time with her best friend. Dewshine met Ferndapple when she was pregnant with her third litter, and Ferndapple with her first. The silvery she-cat streched as she looked around the forest. She waited for her friend to join her for a walk around the territory

Ferndapple

When you're the best of friends
Sharing all that you discover
When that moment has past,
will that friendship last?

She was late. Not by much, but enough to make her aware of every inch the sun crept across the sky. There had been a dispute between two cats who both wanted to lead, and Ferndapple had solved the problem by creating two different hunting patrols. She'd had to cut back the border patrols by one cat each, but hopefully there wouldn't be any problems.

All of that had taken more than a few minutes, and had made her late to meet Dewshine. Ferndapple didn't usually neglect her personal life, but when it did happen, the guilt almost at her alive. She was following the older she-cat's scent and realized it was getting stronger, so she sped up.

At the first sign of Dewshine, Ferndapple sighed in relief and smiled. "Sorry I'm late. Had a bit of trouble with patrols." she apologized sheepishly.

Dewshine heard her friend's footsteps and turned to face her, she smiled when Ferndapple apologized for being late. "Oh, you're not late! I just got here!"

The older she-cat looked around, she scented a few creatures of prey, but she thought Ferndapple must have been hunting all day. Ah, serving her clan as I sat around all day! Dewshine tried to make herself feel better immediately after thinking that. You took some moss and fresh kill to the nursery and elders! That's something!

She chuckled to herself and stretched, "So what do you want to do?"

We could really do anything, the weather is nice! The fresh air blew through the forest camp. The queen shook her pelt, letting in the cool breeze through her fur.
