Spiderstorm and Aspentail are both warriors of WindClan, having been denmates their whole lives. At some point along the way, Aspentail fell in love with Spiderstorm and eventually became very blatant with his desires to have a family with her. Spiderstorm felt that the whole idea was ludicrous, and that being confined to the nursery for at least six moons would be an unbearable hinderance on her path to become leader someday. Aspentail continued to push the idea, and whispers began to sprout among their clanmates of them already being mates, which eventually pressured and/or convinced Spiderstorm to comply to Aspentail's wishes.
The molly eventually became pregnant with his kits, and moved to the nursery under Sparrowtail's demands- regardless of her constant assurances that she would be fine staying in the warriors den. One late afternoon the kits came, much sooner than expected, and Spiderstorm gave birth to four fairly healthy kits before bleeding out, not to the surprise of her caregivers but still to the distaste.
Aspentail, broken hearted, kept himself distanced enough from the kits that he was just barely forced into naming them; Dustkit, Chubkit, Blizzardkit and Peachkit. Chubkit was abnormally small, the clear runt of the litter. A few nights after their birth, the small tom stopped breathing and was later buried beside his mother.
For the most part, the rest of the three's kithood was fairly basic. They were suckled by another queen, and as they opened their eyes Peachkit revealed cute blue moons, while Dustkit showed two eyes that Peachkit considered exceptionally beautiful. The she-kit decided that Mintkit would be a very pretty name, and urged Dustkit to go to Kestrelstar and have his name changed. After she got her way, she was very pleased.
Peachkit didn't take any particular different paths than any kit at her age, and was as proud as any to be given the apprentice name Peachpaw, and a younger warrior, Harestep, as her mentor.
