Oakstripe slipped out of camp and looked around before looking behind him to see if his mate and their apprentices were following. While he waited for his mate and their apprentices to make and appearance he began to groom his fur the tip of his tail twitching back and forth. He knew that he would have to put aside his personal feelings for his mate so that they could train his apprentice. If he acted like he did with his mate when they were alone then they wouldn't ever be able to train their apprentices anything. 'Hopefully I'll be a good mentor to Applepaw,' he thought wondering if they would have time for hunting or something else after they got done viewing the territory. Of course it would also depend on how the apprentices felt after viewing the territory. A lot of apprentices felt wiped out after viewing the territory and he didn't want to do anything else after viewing the territory if they were tired.
