AMADEUS
Male Loner of 19 Moons
Living on the outskirts of RiverClan territory, Amadeus is a young and nervous ex-kittypet. He's very talkative in spite of his anxiety, often rambling rather than knowing when to stop speaking, the speed of his speech increasing the longer he talks. He is easily frightened and very gullible and naive, taking the word of any cat - he tends to start interactions out by being suspicious, but can quickly be convinced of someone's good character that may or may not exist.
Amadeus is an optimist about the personalities of others, while he's a pessimist about situations, assuming the worst will happen, unless he has the assurance of another cat.
He would like to be helpful to others, and he is generally uncomfortable and saddened by other cats whom he meets, who tend to be rude or violent. He would rather go through his life with ease, not upsetting those around him, and believing the best of them, wanting to choose the path that will least lead to those being hurt.
In his kittypet life, Amadeus actually lived far away from the clan territories. His owner would visit the cabin on the lake in the summers; his second time there, Amadeus was left behind after being chased by a dog as his family was packing their car. He had been unable to find the cabin until later that night, when the family had left.
Amadeus is frightened by the stories he has heard of the clan cats, and wishes he wasn't as close to them as he is; he isn't sure how he ended up near their territory, nor can he find his way back home.
He hasn't experienced the colder months in the wild yet, having only been lost for a few moons and rarely being let outside while living with his twoleg family. He is hoping to find permanent shelter at some point.
