Clan/Status: ThunderClan, Warrior
Age: 36 Moons old
Gender: Male
Appearance: Voletail is a lean muscled brown tom with long legs, tail and body, he also has green eyes.
Personality: Voletail is a Serious and ambitious tom cat who had hoped to one day be deputy. But has become bitter because he feels that his only sister Ferndapple has stolen what was rightfully his. His a great fighter and a good hunter at best. His loyal to ThunderClan but is now wondering what came over Ivystar to make Ferndapple Deputy all. With apprentice's he trains them hard and no trains them even harder. Voletail use to be very close to his sister Ferndapple and now was just bitter around the new Deputy because he felt that the wrong cat was picked to be deputy.
History: VOletail was born in a litter of three kits, himself, Fernkit and Owlkit. He has one sister and one brother, they were always close with each other. Even though his sister was always the trouble maker and what she did made those around her think it was funny. Volekit and Owlkit were always trying to stay out from under paws, so they listened to stories from the elder's. Volekit noiced that his sister was almost always getting under paw and would wine about sleeping or when she was hungry. Voletail was Serious and ambitious even as a kit, he wanted to be leader one day. Time past and it was still some old thing as always in ThunderClan with Fernkit making trouble. But when they were made apprentice Volepaw saw that his sister was given a middle aged warrior who seem to be patient with her. Volepaw was given a mentor who trained him hard and he learned fast. Than one day in the middle of their apprenticeship Fernpaw went out on a patrol.
Volepaw didn't think much of it as they had apprentice tasks to do like getting the elders new beding for their nests. It was later that same day that Fernpaw came back with a story to tell herself and how she did well in her frist real battle. Volepaw was proud of his sister and so was owlpaw even though they were jealous that she got to show her skills off. Volepaw shorty after that noiced a young warrior watching his sister and at that moment felt very protective of Fernpaw. He watched as they hang out together and talked or hunted. Volepaw talked Owlpaw in to trying to break them up and the two did everything they could think of to make the Oakstripe look bad. After some time Fernpaw finally got on to them about it, to stop them before they actually hurt Oakstripe. Than one leaf-bare come and many cats got sick. Volepaw soon learned that Fernpaw's mentor dead and so did Oakstipes mother. Volepaw watched the two as they built an even stronger bond and he stopped trying to break the two up. Volepaw started to think if this makes his sister happy than so be it.
Volepaw trained harder to try to be the best warrior ThunderClan has even had before. Than a moon after the green cough Volepaw was named a warrior with his siblings and wasn't to please with his name, but could live with it. Voletail later on trying to have members of ThunderClan love him so that he might be picked as deputy one day and than later become leader like his dreamed of. Voletail worked hard in ThunderClan and helped those who needed it. He didn't watch its though and didn't help apprentices like Ferndapple was doing. He didn't think much of it and continued to help the warriors of ThunderClan only, doing patrols alot, hunting or border ones. Than later after some time has past Voletail hears that his sister is going to have kits. Voletail was happy for his sister and hoped that she had healty kits. Voletail came to the nursery one or two time and that was to check out the kits as he had shown an interest in training one of his sister's kits. He noticed she had two sons and saw that Cinderkit was the bigger of the two and Rainkit was silent, not from being a Serious kit, but more from Shyness.
It was later that his sister's den mate of the time a moon later give brith to one kit. After a time as the kits grew the seem to make troble like their mother did and Voletail didn't understand about the little she kit Dewshines daughter making trouble with his nephews. But soon enough to two older tom kits were made apprentices and Voletail was given Cinderpaw. Voletail was very pleased and hoped to show his Clan that he would be great as deputy someday. Voletail trained Cinderpaw hard like his mentor had and sometimes the young apprentice would get wounds or little cuts. But it got worse after his sister was made deputy and not Voletail so he trained Cinderpaw even harder. Though after some moons his apprentice was made a warrior named Cindermask and Rainpaw was named Rainstep. It was after those two were made warriors that Stormpaw was made a warrior too. But Voletail had become distent from his sister and was very bitter about the fect that she had stolen his dream away from him.
