Personality: Aspenwhisker is horribly suspicious to the point of irrational paranoia. He doesn’t always understand jokes, and tends to be literal minded. He’s a pretty cynical and dry tom, with pessimism a sharp contrast to his sister’s exuberant view on life. He sees the whole Clan as his kits in a way, and that he’s smarter then other cats, so he often has a condescending tone to other cats.
He's not a medicine cat apprentices want to be sent to when they fake sickness. Aspenwhisker's sharp tongue and blunt words cause kits to be a little nervous of him.
History: Aspenkit was born in his mother, Cloudpath’s, first litter, with a sister named Emberkit. Emberkit has always been much more outgoing then the tom. Aspenkit’s father was nice enough, if not a bit distant, because he hadn’t aimed to have kits with Cloudpath, and honestly found a tortoiseshell tom pretty odd! Because he suffers from Kleinefelters syndrome, Aspenkit got sick quite often, and spent a long time in the medicine den. Because of his early knowledge of herbs and dislike of being touched/in close contact, he became the medicine cat, Kestrelfoot’s apprentice.

Aspenpaw's knowledge of herbs grew quickly, but remembering how to use them under times of stress strained the tom. Aspenpaw chews his whiskers when hes stressed, and bobs his head. Sometimes, when under extreme stress, Aspenpaw would see a tom named Whitenose. Whitenose was a quiet companion, occasionally snapping at Aspenpaw to his volitile personality. But overall, Whitenose was pretty benevolent and quietly reminded Aspenpaw what to do. This imaginary friend may have been started by Aspenpaw's inability make friends very well from his naturally distant attitude, so Whitenose remains one of his only companions to this day. But Aspenpaw and Emberpaw were always 2 of the closest cats in the clan, despite conflicting paths and personalities. It doesn’t help that he’s horribly suspicious to the point of paranoia.

Late into his apprenticeship, Aspenpaw met Cloudleap, a warrior turned medicine cat of ShadowClan. Given that they were both apprentices,despite Aspenpaw being a year older then Cloudleap, the pair grew close. Aspenwhisker earned his full medicine cat name a few moons into Cloudleap's training.
Relationships: Cloudleap- ShadowClan's medicine cat, Aspenwhisker is in what he calls a 'quiet love' with the tom. The taller tom tries to support the nervous grey and white tom, but since hes not in ShadowClan, it doesn't work out very often.
Emberfoot- sister, and very close friend.
