Once upon a time, Heronheart considered becoming a medicine cat. Not because StarClan whispers in his dream or he had a memory for herbs, but rather he hates having to inflict pain on anyone. Even in battles he feels bad about causing his enemies pain, and will even seek them out at Gatherings to apologize.
Heronheart can't lie. I don't mean he refuses to lie from some sort of moral code of honor. I mean, he literally cannot lie. He's one of the worst liars in history, so he just doesn't bother with it and tells the truth the first time around.
His life revolves around the emotions of his Clanmates.
