Why Won't They Give Me A Chance? {Open}

Fangstar was in his den thinking of Night the newest rogue that had shown up. He was sure that the rogue was the father of Barkkit and Hollykit. He had blamed the rogue for not being their for his daughter when she had kits but so reason he couldn't hate him anymore. 'If he lost his memory there is no reason for me to hate him,' he thought a tremble going through him. It still hurt him to think of Falconflight but he wouldn't let his clan mates see the sadness that went through him. He got to his paws again and stretched he wasn't that old but he sometimes felt like the oldest cat in the clan. He was always struggling to see which cats were free to mentor and who had an apprentice. He supposed he could take on another apprentice but he always felt tired in fact the leader rarely slept well. Deep inside he didn't blame Night for his daughters death but himself. He had no idea that Lionice had actually been behind his daughters death he exiled her almost a moon ago for killing a clan mate and he hadn't seen her since. The leader dug his claws into the ground when he thought of Lionice. Deep inside he knew exiling her wasn't the last time he would see her after all she had promised to come back and get her revenge. The leader shook his head to escape the dark thoughts out of his head and exited his den with a smile though the smile didn't reach his eyes. 'I can't let Lionice hurt Riverclan, that is if she actually returns,' he thought shaking his head again and took a deep breath forcing the smile to reach his eyes. 'Maybe I'm just being paranoid,' he thought pushing his worries to the back of his mind.

Wolfkit eyes lit up when she heard Hawkfoot. "Yeah, I hope you can talk him into making me and Snowkit into apprentices," she meowed noticing movement out of the corner of her eye and saw Fangstar exit his den. She got to her paws ready to head over there with Hawkfoot but noticed something seemed wrong with her leader. She tilted her head to the side confused at first until she realized that his smile seemed fake like he was putting on some kind of facade. She watched as her leader shook his head and the smile reached his eye. 'He's faking, he's worried about something but he doesn't want anyone to worry about him,' she realized. She was very observant for a kit and had noticed all this by watching her leader.

Snowkit's eyes glittered excitedly and he became filled with hope. This was his chance to prove himself if Fangstar would permit it. He would finally be able to show his clan what he was made of. "Pease go tak to Fangstar now pease Hawkfoot. I want to become a apprentice so much. I wana prove mysef to the can." He locked his eyes on with Hawkfoot's silently begging her for her help.

Would Fangstar ok it? Or would he turn Sunkit and Wolfkit down with out even thinking about it. Or maybe he would accept Wolfkit and not Sunkit, or even the other way around. If he had to train himself he would become a warrior someday.
