Training {Invite/Luna}

Lion-nose sighed he really needed to start waking her up earlier. The she-cat should't sleep the day away. "Good it's about time, you should have been up before I started assigning duties. Today your doing battle training. You'll be learning your first battle moves." Turning around he went to walk away but saw his apprentices siblings right behind him. "Good morning Mosspaw, Owlpaw. Where are your mentors? Shouldn't you be learning herbs and how to heal injures and such Mosspaw? And Owlpaw you should be out learning battle or hunting techniques. Go find your mentors and see what they want you to do." With that he padded past them to the camp entrance.

The whole litter had been born with something wrong with them. These three where better off than their brother. He had asked the leader if he could train Shellpaw because she needed someone to would take their time with her and keep a schedule that wouldn't change. He looked to Shellpaw and took a deep breath. "From now on I want you up at Sunrise just like all the other cats. As soon and the patrols are assigned we will go to training. If you are not up before I am done assigning patrols you will stay in camp and clean the elders den and check them for ticks." He figured that would give the young she-cat motivation to get up in the morning.

Lion-nose looked at Owlpaw. "I know for certain he was supposed to go with his mentor to learn our borders today he told me so last night so go and look for him Owlpaw. Every morning whether they told you they had nothing planed or not the day before you are to go to your mentor and ask if there is anything they have planned. If your mentor indeed has nothing planned for you as you say than you can clean out the nursery and when your done with that you can clean out the elders den Owlpaw. A lazy apprentice will not be accepted in Riverclan. Maybe if you ask the elders will tell you some stories."

That took care of one apprentice. He could't give orders to a medicinecat apprentice that was not in his jurisdiction. But he really didn't want to bring her with them. He looked from Shellpaw to Mosspaw. "Fine you may come but you will be quiet and you will sit to the side unless asked other wise. If you interrupt I'll send you back here to help your brother."

With that Lion-nose turned around and with a flick of his tail he motioned for them to fallow him. He padded to the shallowest part that he had crossed with the rouge who had lost his memory a few days ago. He easily swam across to the other side not touching the ground even though he could than waited for the apprentices to fallow.

Lion-nose stepped back and watched as his apprentice tried yet again. This time he could see she was really trying harder extending her claws out until it hurt. But it would be worth it someday when the time came for Shellpaw to fight another clan. He watched her for several minutes before padding up to her and resting his tail on her shoulder. "That's enough of that today. Every day you will practice your swipe in the morning until it no longer hurts when you extend your claws. But for now I want you to try it on a moving target. Me for example see if you can land a blow on me. Keep your claws out because I'm positive you won't touch me."

Turning Lion-nose took several steps until he was in the center of the clearing. He than crouched down a smile on his face and his tail lashing. "Now attack Shellpaw. Like before imagine your protecting your clan mates."
